It goes without saying
that the brutalities of the Israeli invaders of Arab lands exclude
nobody in occupied Palestine as long as the victim is native
Palestinian. In the same manner, these bloodthirsty barbarian
Zionists have no respect to other peoples’ religious holidays
whether they belong to Christians or Muslims.
Accordingly, dozens of
Palestinians were killed, injured or abducted in the occupied West
Bank and Gaza Strip. And more Palestinian families were thrown out
to the streets at midnight after their homes were unjustified
destroyed by the army of occupation on this Christmas and New Year
holiday. For example, in the Rafah refugee camp, Israeli tanks stood
guard on Friday as ironclad bulldozers knocked down four residential
buildings, home of at least 20 refugee families, which did not
belong to militants, Palestinian witnesses were quoted as saying by
Reuters.
The Israeli army
destroyed on Friday the home of Mohammad Brewesh, a leader of the
Islamic Jihad group in Beit Khalil, north of Hebron. The demolition
of thousands of Palestinian homes in the past two years of Intifada
has been widely criticized by human rights groups, as part of
illegal punitive Israeli policy of collective punishment.
The U.S. State
Department spokesman Richard Boucher said that “ steps
such as displacement of
[Palestinian] people through the demolition of homes and property
exacerbate the humanitarian situation [in occupied Palestine].”
Nevertheless, the Bush administration protect Israel against
international sanctions, making it possible for Sharon’s rightist
government to continue its campaign of terror against defenseless
Palestinians. Many foreign nationals, including Journalists and
United Nations workers in Palestine. The last victim was Iain Hook,
a British supervisor for the U.N. Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA)
who was killed on November 22 in cold blood by Israeli soldiers in
the devastated West Bank refugee camp of Jenin since April. The
United States last month single-handedly vetoed a UN Security
Council resolution for Hook’s murder; disregarding the fact the
victim was a senior UN officer. Two more Palestinian, staff members
of UNRWA, were killed on December. The two victims, Osama Tahrawi,
27, and Ahlam Alwawi, 31- died when the Israeli invaders backed by
American made Apache helicopters stormed last month the Buraij
refugee camp.
Alwawi, a teacher at a
UNRWA-run school, was huddling in her home when a piece of Israeli
shrapnel struck and killed her.
Tahrawi, was among five
Palestinians killed when the U.S.-made Apache fired a missile at the
crowded street.
Hundreds of Palestinian
captives rose up against their Israeli captors at the notorious Ofer
concentration camp, near Ramallah, the Israeli army staged an
overnight raid and the prisoners clashed with invading troops and
their wild dogs.
The Israeli campaigns of
terror against 3.4 million Palestinians continued as Israel’s
election’s date on January 28, is approaching. Consequently, the
number of arrested and abducted Palestinians has been swollen by
Israeli sweeps.
Israeli forces that used
wild dogs, tear gas and stun grenades to force the prisoners,
undressed, out of their tents at freezing midnight, wounded about 50
Palestinian captives.
The abducted captives,
many of them held in concentration camps and who are crammed in
over-populated and torn tents, burned tents in protest at their
living conditions.
