The Egyptian Authorities who re-opened the border last Saturday for three days to ease the suffering of the Palestinians, particularly for those who are in immediate need for medical treatment.

The opening of the crossing is part of a previous coordination between Hamas and Egypt. In the first day the border was opened for seriously sick Palestinians, the second day was for the stranded Palestinians on the Palestinian side, and the third day was for the residents who are stranded on the Egyptian side.

 In related news, Egyptian security forces said that they found runnels between Egypt and Gaza.

Egyptian security sources reported that the tunnels were discovered when Egyptian borders policemen were patrolling the area.
