Palestinian artist born
in Kubyba, lives and works in Ghazze
Abdal Rahman Mozayen’s
work has a distinguishable style. The predominant themes in his
work are those of Palestinian heritage and yearning for liberation
and home. The key, the stone, the horse, and other contemporary
Palestinian symbols are present in his work, however, he feels that
the subject must be beautiful, restful, and never frightening to
children. His recent drawings of the destruction of Jenin are framed
in the embrace of Anat-the ancient Canaanite goddess of the
Palestinians.
