Palestinian artist born in Majd Kurum, lives and works in Tarsheeba
Ziad Hammud focuses on environmental issues surrounding his
hometown, Majd Al Kurim in Al Jalil (Galilee). In his series of
mural size works, he deals with the damage done to Palestinian towns
by Israeli highways. In his prints, he focuses on the societal
conditions in Palestine. Particularly visible in his work are images
that reflect death, such as figures on graves and gravestones on
grottos.
