Lina Bokhary's "Deluge" was a portrayal of her 23 days under virtual
house arrest during the siege of Ramallah in 2002. It showed simple
images -- such as her walking alone through a deserted town or
watching old videos of parties in a darkened room or meditating with
candles to the background sound of artillery fire.
