Israeli occupation:

Arab Liberation Army
(headed by Fawzi al-Qawqgi) battalion made up of Syrian and
Palestine Druze volunteers. The village has been completely
destroyed, and only house rubble left behind.
Hawsha inhabitants were
completely ethnically cleansed. Hawsha may have been named after al-nabi
Hushan, and for whom the village maintained a shrine/ Maqam for.
There was a shrine named
Maqam for a Nabi Hushan.
Hawsha contained a
number of ancient ruins which consisted of the foundations of
buildings, a maqam (shrine) for a Nabi Hushan, a well, rock-cut
tombs, and a mosaic floor.
