than 30 Jordanian and Iraqi artists gathered in Amman, Jordan on
June 29 to paint
murals. The gathering was to support the Palestinian Aqsa Intifada
and to express their
anger against the Israeli oppression.
The
Jordanian Plastic Artists Association in cooperation with the Jordan
Engineers
Association organized the five-hour event.
The
Palestinian artist Nasser Jafari said he believes that painting the
mural was the least
artists could do to show their support for the
Palestinians.
