A Petition in Solidarity with the Palestinian People

To:  People (with non_arab nationality) concerned with justice, peace, and human rights

We, the undersigned, call on our governments to suspend ALL relations (economic and political) with the Israeli government pending the following measures to be taken IMMEDIATELY with regards to STOPPING the current Israeli offensive waged against the Palestinian people and authority. We are seriously concerned with the human rights violations committed by the Israeli Defense Forces in their killing of innocent men, women, and children, in addition to preventing ambulances from reaching wounded and dying civilians, and the mass arrests of hundreds. We feel that our governments can play a key role in bringing an end to the struggle for Palestinian human rights and self-determination by pressuring Israel to implement United Nations resolutions 242, 338, and especially 194, which calls for the Palestinian refugees’ inalienable right of return.

The events of the past week clearly demonstrate that Sharon is not waging his war in the name of peace, so why wait???
