An Address to Sunrise by The Black Pen (H.T.M) Tamer
Kids Speak Out
A year shinning with hope…A happy
life beaming at work…Peace behind the
Wall…a question whose answer lies long in the waiting.
A new year is born…the sick war
threatens a child's life. I appeal to you for the life of a
child who chooses life: If you are trying to bring a smile-no
matter how small-to the face of a child, whose departure from
sadness has become nothing more than a farce… If you could own
peace…Would you stop talking???
Or would you use the words to
terminate tyranny…and give that peace to every child in need of
compassion…to restore his humanity…And erase the words
"despairing child" from the world, for justice and humanity?
As for me…If I owned peace…I would
own the world…And then…I would ban bombs…I would feed the
hungry… I would gladden the hearts of the sad… I would rend all
the tanks…I would shelter the homeless… And stop the tyrants… If
I could own peace…I would spread justice everywhere…If I could
own peace I would stop tears, share gifts and light candles. |
